If you want quiet family life with fixed timings and 48 days paid yearly leave ,it's nice.Amount of work depends if your in a large city then more work otherwise most small towns have few doctors with more duties but less work per say.

Dislikes

Locals are given too much preference .Even juniors are promoted for no good reason. Career stagnation is the norm with promotions being rare and mainly for locals. No real educational activity or CME , no learning .No job security when you get old.Departmental politics and policy to appease locals holds sway over what's right. Lack of respect for seniority .When you come back to your home country ,your skills are outdated.

Work

Can be hectic if city otherwise it's a yawn in small towns
