All that glitters is not gold.
Nestle has one of the pathetic work cultures in the industry.
If you are in the company, you have to give all your time to the company, whether it's 7 AM in the morning or 10 PM at night.Yoir personal and family life will ruin in this company.
There is no holiday in this company.
My boss called me on aholiday and demanded a data work at that moment, I was outside with my family and told him that it will be done by evening. Hearing this he thrashed me and said that we supposed to work on Mondays( the holiday was on Monday), and he will remember that I did not work on that day. Imagine this type of work culture exists on a company like Nestle. I resigned that week only. It's not possible to bow down to illogical demands by company management.
Even if your headquarter is 30-40 mins from your place, you have to resettle in your headquarter and leaving your headquarter without permission will make you lose your job. You cannot go anywhere even after office hours without informing your company. This is Nestle for you.
I joined the company with a lot of excitement, but starting from the 1st day, my manager started humiliating means me lose my confidence. On the second day he thrashed me because I did not pick up his call at 8 45 AM on a Saturday. Why will I pick an official call at 8 45 AM which is not a working hour.
Indian labour laws demands maximum 48 hours work a week and maximum 8 hours work a day.
But Nestle is violating all labour laws. You will be made to work more than 12 hours a day.
You are working in a brand after all.
Which ever company you are working, don't think of joining in Nestle that too in Kolkata.
Again all that glitters are not gold...Read More
