Working in oberoi hotels helps you to make present minded and to work in busy environment and to tackle in difficult situations.

Dislikes

There is no work-life balance in oberoi hotels and no recognition for ur work, less salary no promotions and shifts hours goes for at least 11 hrs to 14 hrs and u won't receive comp offs or extra salary for over times also te mana management very poor they don't know how to manage staffing and their always understaff and hires only freshers no a single experience person to held other staffs they are just money oriented company and they don't care about their staff. It is the best hospitality brand in India and it really gives you satisfaction when you give years of your life to this company. Dislikes

Promotions are very late as compared to other brands in India like Marriotts where you'll become supervisor in 2 years however Oberoi hotels makes you supervisor in 4 years in some cases 3 years.

The way they treat you initially for 2 weeks

Working hours are like you sleep for the hotel and wake up for the hotel. You don't get time for yourself. 12 hours shift becomes regular and it can increase to 20 hours if there is a wedding. HR is worse they don't take care of their employees when employees go to them for reducing the shift hours. They say that they'll adjust something but nothing happens until and unless you are about to get hurt or are on the last leg of getting I'll. In some cases even if you get ill.
