There's heavy lay off going on in persistent. They did over hiring. Took 1 billion awards. And immediately started laying off people in sets so as to not be in news and highlights. It's Indian MNC and work culture is terrible. Recruitment team works like a consultancy and since Ray Bharadwaj sir left and Varun came, things are really dirty and Mahesh and Athikhur are the biggest trash

Client deputation allowances has stopped. Leaves encashment not available. No matter how you are working in client location , they will provide max 7% appraisal. Variable pay will be delayed 3 months YoY.

They will hire you on project basis. If project called off before deployed on project then they put you on bench. After one month they will tell , there is bench policy if you are on bench for some period of time then will ask you to resign. Without matching profile they will schedule interviews. They are are so many internal issues you will get to know after joining the company.

As it's not a big organization so you have to all work by your self no support system..this help to learn many things also.

As I said we have to do all work here and no support system so no work life balance, difficult to go on leave. No job security if you are on bench.

Managers prioritise work above anything else except extreme medical emergencies. Constant pressure and micro-management ultimately creates a stressful atmosphere to work in.

I have joined to this organisation after a very long discussion with my circle and people. Now I feel that I would never regret to take this opportunity,it's a good choice for people who else suffering with work life balance in top MNCs. Loved the interview process and kind people. Projects also good.

It depends on the project, But some projects senior management is worst. Less pay. Less work life balance. Many Weekend workings. Bad policies regarding employee benifits like even if you dont want the company food then also u have to pay 40k a year for food. Etc

As a fresher you will learn a lot if you are allocated to an good project. Felxible timing Wfo mandatory is dependant on project. If you are having any special skills they will give you that bonus as well

Dislikes

Life will get worst when you are allocated to Indian client. You will be forced to work more. And no benefits of it. Micromanagement is done with people who are not having more experience. To retain good relation with client they can accept unrealastic timelines. If you are bench more than 1 or 2 months you will be forced to put down the papers.
