I amreferring about chennai location, Hospira previously Orchid. Has been recently taken over by pfizer and integration of pfizer culture is in progress. Hence comments are entirely about Hospira-Orchid culture.No benchmark for performance,entirely depends on how well you praise your boss, keep his ego satisfied. If you are a local or from Telugu background and your boss happens o be Telugu you will climb ladder quickly.So called leaders are only for name sake. Poor knowledge about regulatory requirements by quality,outdated lab setup,software/systems,horrible decision makers holding high positions, blame culture seems induced in blood of people for hospira-Orchid,chennai location.
Every possible excuse by quality,hold lab activities as knowledge on exact requirements is poor,Compliance and quality is only show off.In background business and quality play hand in hand for hiding major non conformance.You cannot strictly speak your opinions for improvements.No job security for hard work.
Everything except drug development.Validation, calibration,maintenance, investigation/incident handling, change control management,CAPAs,facing audit,Preparation,SOP harmonization,Procedure integration. Responsible for execution of almost everything.
