Good thing is too much Life balance and you will easily come to comfort zone.

Dislikes

Developers work is not good. You work on old technologies and multiple BUs have their old product and no proper KT is given and you are made to fix Defects, enhance an already built code snippet and visit medical center when there is new release/upgrade and fix the issue in once a while-weekend. They promised to move to cloud 2 years back(still after completing 2 years), they are still not in a state. You will easily loose touch of whatever you had learned before coming to Philips. Job security after Covid - 2022 has become worse. They pay you well, but you will be in a shock once they inform you that you have notice period left and to search outside. The reason for lay-off or firing they give is organizational restructuring, but still they hire which is really confusing....Read More

Philips as a brand. It’s a legacy but gradually losing the value and culture mostly because not able to pick good leads at all levels! Just pushing your old people just because they were there since long seems like reservation not meritocracy! Deserving people are being targeted by old people for their own survival!

Old people there may not let you do new things by any wired excuse! They just want to there in a comfort zone and wants all to be in same zone so no one look smarter than them! They are the reason of company downfall and they don’t want this message to reflect on top ! They may target you and push you back if you try to be more smarter than them. One way feedback ! The pay is very average compared to other good MNCs and tech companies. The average age of employees might be somewhere in the range of 35-40. This is pretty old for a tech company. There are a lot of positions which the company can do without and hire good problem solvers instead.
