Good office. There are 4 departments in PPD Gurugram office like Medical writing, regulatory affairs, clinical data management and pharmacovigilance. People are good in all the departments. I was in Pharmacovigilance department with no office based teammates strange but true. The training sessions (online) were okay nothing special about training. Job is secure what people says. My job security was an exception. My tenure was not much, so I can't say about career growth, salary appraisal and travel. It does not look like politics prevail in PPD. Don't know exactly, as in my department I was the only office based employee. Work environment is really good and peaceful. Learning mainly depends on person to person. However, it could be said that there is a chance to learn. Overall the work-life balance apart from Pharmacovigilance department seems to be good.
Setup of PV is not gud,1 offc based position in (total-5 in India). Other 4 had an option of home based working. 1) No info during recruitment dat I'll b d only offc based employee & dis really affected my job in terms of support. Only way out to ask doubts was to dial d number/chat with seniors (in case they r available online or pick up d phone). 2) Machines & printers r really pathetic. 1 is old outdated machine (which their software doesn't support) & often blocks d paper/remain out of working & the other machine is new but remains occupied by other dept. or suffers from software issue & most strange part is "no technician in d office" & it really affects the paper work profile in which I was working. 3) Numerous useless daily calls and meetings. 4) Allocation of 2 country's (India & Phillipines) work with global time difference, not intimated when recruiting. Clash of timings during work. 5) Jonathan Lester Samaniego - worst manager ever seen. 6) No lunch/transprt
Hectic as the set up of PV is not proper. Work allocation of 2 countries with global time difference is not a good decision when there is a time clash and work expectation is high and perfect. Other dept. may b gud, I can't say. Otherwise company is gud.
