Enjoyed working with a great team.
Enjoyed the independence in area of Functional responsibility. The company perhaps is a pioneer in women centric policies among peers in manufacturing industry.
People with long stints, specially at senior corporate level, are an entitled lot - despite poor competence. This was seen as a part of the company culture & was not seriously questioned. Lately, younger Professionals inducted in the company have had unacceptable differences with such entitled seniors & the company has seen attrition of several competent Professionals recently. Compensation in general is relatively lower than comparable companies. This can be attributed to the way the 'long time seniors' understand Compensation.
Ops is a very happening place. Lots of action. So much so that it is an 'activity trap'. Very demanding in people management, daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly/ annual reviews. TQM was a great learning experienceThere was a lot of award focused work.
