no pay hikes no promotioms what ever you do or how much hard work yoi have done. No work life balance. HR team is only there for top level management and not for ass. or sr. associates. I left my job in Sapient after working for 9 years as Associate Finance and a package ok 35k pm and have not got any promotion for reasons not known to me. Management have no justification for not promoting me. I left job after my 2nd baby as they were not willing to extent my leaves, nor WFH even on alternet days. And i have to travel from Noida to GGN leaving 6 mnts. baby.
If part of any development work, then you get to work with some of the brilliant minds in the industry. Soon enough you will thrive for more and you will get a habit of working aggressively with delivering best of quality.
Sometimes they will not align with your aspirations. In such a case there are members in leadership in Sapient who may take it personal.
Also, with onsite opportunities, you might feel that the choices are biased. Not everyone is getting these opportunities. you might have to follow up on your aspirations again and again to let your voice be heard.
Luckily, i was part of development project later on, where i got to learn lots of concepts. But initially, was part of support and leadership took it personally to roll off me from project when i asked to move me to development work.
I just want to say that there is no job security. I was hired along with other 14 people with a good compensation package and we were told that project has already started. When we joined , we came to know that project was not signed . Sapient lied and played with our career. After 2 months they asked us to leave and forced us to resign. By God's grace we got a job and we had a very bad time. I just want to advise all that before accepting any offer please make sure project is signed and it is a long term project. Sapient HR now changed their bench period to two months. If you are on bench for two more months then you will be fired.
The openness they have, creativity, growth opportunities, relationship building.. I’ve grown and learnt a lot from Sapient
Nothing really that I dislike..I’d like to work with Sapient sometime again
I was part of the LTC team and I had the most amazing job of creating wonderful experience for the new hires. I was taking care of their induction and orientation.. running couple of sessions for them to help getting them in synced with the organisation.
Great place to learn.amazing team members and very skilled architects. There is always a scope to learn . Exposure to new technology.i could bet my life you would be a much improved person in your skillet and way of communication
The entire power rests with manager and they could make your life a living hell. No work life balance . leaving office at 8 becomes a norm but it depends on the project you are in
Lots of politics within team, Not enough work, No growth plan for an individual, very poor management, zero motivation, team lacks technical skills, very very small team, more number of non-technical guys in overall security team, lacking basic skills required, except gossips there is nothing one can gain from this team.
The best thing about sapient is the work . You will get plenty of good work with lots of learning . Even a simple small scale project will use the best standard frameworks , tools and coding practices . If you stay in this company for good amount of time then you will see a improvement in your technical skills .
It is sometimes difficult to maintain a good work life balance
If someone looking to fulfill a stretched aspiration, this is the one. Do you love to take up tough challenges? are you up for truly an open culture, this is the place. Comps and benefits are always relative to your needs and wants do I will not comment much, yet from my perspective it's competitive in service industry.
You may have to be off balance your work life to thrive. So learn to work hard and smart.
