I liked the company management and employee of the company who always cooperated with security and their rules their never interfere security work but they keep doing updates with every records which vahicles are coming n going for how much material ..
So everything was good cos job location was same in the company and just because of this I could merge with the environment of employees n staff too..

It wasn't that I disliked something about shahpoorji pallonji company everything comes with some high or low aspects so we have to indulge with environment but there were one thing that was about visa problem about those company ..
In which you can't travel to your country as soon as possible in case of emergency because had a delay of renew of next visa while working there ..and Another was food which wasn't up to the mark because mostly employees were belong to south India so I was from north India so all food was according to south Indian s ..and kitchen staff was also fully south Indian ..
That's was a few things nothing else
My work was on access control at main gate to check out every vahicles and the material inside and take a sign frm driver during their coming Inside company and out side company n thn taking from than papers of materials and taking sign frm store mangers
The company has given big responsibility to safety team to complete project with zero accident. Good coordination between the site team and safety team. Site engineer are also conducting safety training which is good since they area the ones who have a better relationship with workers compared to an HSE officer. Now I am working away from my home town which gives a good chance to learn additional languages and tackling of life responsibilities. The client in our project is very peculiar towards safety which is a very supportive for us to maintain safe environment. Promotion of cadre is given at an span of 3 years based on work performance. For the past 2 and an half years I have been with SPCPL organisation which has given me tough and rusty phase which has moulded me an flexible person as an safety Engineer.
Working hours is more than 12hrs which gives me no Time for refreshments. Since I have been working away from home town unable to go home frequently.
working in SPCL is very ambitious as we can learn good culture, ethics & more challengeable .we can come across various industry level high profile people & learn more valuable things in life.whatever we learn in college can be implemented here without fear with good support from the staff & it is of always encouraging in progress achieving & target fulfilling.in every company politics will exists & in SPCL it is of more in nature.( within the staff between seniors & higher seniors )
gossiping & bossism , those who are really result oriented are side lined & some one will take the credit ,instead the real one who slagged for the target & result.senior positions should be filled with real & talented , equally fitting individual, not through gossiping & more talking guys ,who are coming only to survive in their life, without contributing anything to the company.
working in SPCL is exiting & always challenging, exposing more & more areas of works needs& different people we can meet in the industry .
The company is open to innovation and readily adopt latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that Store and Purchase department and has a global client base. A a result during the joining in this company as per our request they have given my posting in my native place. It is good for me and my family. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various culture background, and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re hire policy here.
Compensation is decent but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight is a day as I have to attend our Project In-charge call in the evening and sometimes late into the night.Manager do not value and of the times. I do receive appreciation email from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid year appraisals.
I HAVE WORKED FOR 4 YEARS AS PRINCIPAL OF THEIR SUPERVISOR TRAINING SCHOOL AT NEW TOWN ,KOLKATA FROM 2008 TO 2012. I FEEL THIS IS THE BEST COMPANY I HAVE EVER SERVED. MR CYRUS MISTRY WAS MY BOSS . NO ONE CAN BE BETTER BOSS THAN MR MISTRY. I HAD TO LEAVE THE ORGANISATION DUE TO FAMILY CONSIDERATION.
MR MISTRY GAVE ME FULL FREEDOM TO BRING UP THE SUPERVISOR TRAINING SCHOOL. I TOOK IT AS A CHALLENGE AND GEVE MY BEST
The working environment at water division is highly polluted with politics. For real talented, honest and hard working skilled professionals this will be a wrong platform. The top management is covered all around by dark clouds( middle level corporate management) and hence they cannot see what is happening outside. I think even top management might not be interested to penetrate at ground levels to know about happenings at field level. The third party inspection and confidential report collection system is very much essential for this division which otherwise the division may not have a fair growth in near period.
no platform for real, talented and hard working professionals.
Being a fresher or new comer this company provides a better platform for learning and growing as a professional. Salary package is good as well as yearly perks and increments are also appreciable.
The work pressure is very high. Although 8 hours is the daily working time fixed by the HR department but the standard working time is strictly 12 hour at site. And often I had to work 14 to 16 hour straight in a day even sometime I had to work full day and night.There is no overtime duty compensation which is very unfair. Managers are dumb and deaf towards individuals point of view and pressurises only for output.
There is nothing to like in SPCPL...all are totally worst...Yeah only thing is good that person with best efficiency is used for all time and others are treated perfect at the time of Appraisal.
Its a GET based company....There is no value for Experienced person as SPCPL thinks that Experienced one is only try to survive at this company and they should work under GET with much lower package than a GET.
Its Horrible work experience....I left the company as soon as I saw the Appraisal letter with 4% increment where as a GET is getting 12.5% for the 2nd time.....I can't tolerate this inequality as it will completely destroy your moral strength.
My shaporji. Pollanji company and its policies are.very best regarding the employees and their career but in some times due to local management the employees not get true benefits of company policy and they are unable able to their best performance regarding their work

Not at all no one can dislike the company only some ego people create the secuation so that the employee dis like that site only

The apprisal system is not that much good,increments & growth is slow.There is no motivation & appritiation from management for hard work.
About my work I am looking entire residential tower execution work with the contractor team,sometime its too difficult to handdle entire projects site responsibility by single hand but I can manage by myself.we keep daily tracking on site activities.
