Promotion policies has been changed and promotion on higher designation is bit difficult. It would be awesome if they could provide cab facility.

Good opportunities to learn. SGTC spends well in learning and development of its people. One of their principles is "people". So care is taken of job satisfaction and work life balance. Most managers really care of their employees as they are rated yearly based on satisfaction of their reportees. There are opportunities to learn onsite via short visits.

Dislikes

Projects flow from top to bottom (US office to India office). Stryker India managers need to convince US managers to give decent portions of work to India centre. Many time they may fail to convince. So India office ends up getting not so good portions of the project.

One of the best companies to work for. --Good work life balance, great understanding within the organization. Appreciation culture, give and get appreciations for everything you have. Good appraisal/promotions based on your performance

Dislikes

Politics at top management level, although this does not affect the employees most of the time, but sometimes it does. Multiple Systems and processes are being standardized, we are not there yet but we are on our way.

One of the worst Politics on every stage and dominating the people mentally putting tress by the manager… no value for work only politics, no future growth plan for employees. No humanity and curtsy.. threatening the people just favour by creating the groups. There is no support from top management and HR they are only acting. No recognition for hard work, always manager talks and create politics within team, manager dose not feel proud about the employees when they recognition by some one if not from favour group.
