I faced as a Business Development Manager during my tenure of 27 months at STUP Consultants Pvt. Ltd, KOLKATA Branch, at P-11 Darga Road, Park Circus, Kolkata -17, a lot of gender-bias and discrimination as a single (widow) technical professional. Even though I have the requisite qualifications & experience (B.E. Civil from IIEST, erstwhile Bengal Engg. College, Shibpur & PGDM Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur), & having worked at top companies earlier like M.N. Dastur, Tata Consulting Engineers, Tata Steel Processing & Distribution Ltd.)with total work experience of 17 years, my experience at STUP Kolkata Branch was terrible. As a woman technical professional, & working mother with 2 children, I shall never recommend any woman professional to work at STUP Consultants Pvt. Ltd, KOLKATA Branch.
Extremely gender-biased; no opportunity of growth for ambitious women professionals; rampant disregard of women's issues & as I worked in area of Business Development, I became a victim of corporate politics related to unethical work procedures.
STUP Consultants pvt LTD Bengaluru is a highly reputed Organization.
The Bengaluru branch is working under a very respectful Director also HRD manager is very helpful to employees, work space and house keeping is good. Biometric System is also good Salary etc are made properly by HO. Other Management is good

Bengaluru branch having two Major Structures groups and one Irrigation Project group holding and controlled by very Hopelesst Seniors belonging to Tamilnadu ( Tamil taking) are always Discriminate and insulting other States ( non Tamil) employees
Also working under them is only Repetition work.
My suggestion to New job seekers don't work under these peoples.
I am appointed as CAD Design Engineer my main work is to update and renew CAD drawings Drafting work.

Tough work for a Business Development Professional as Cross Departmental Co-ordination is Difficult to Get. More over here Business Development is more of Proposal Manager where one has to go through various Consultancy Tenders .
Mainly locating Tenders and Proposals. Managing the same with STUPs Expertise and Prequalification. Attending Prebid meetings and taking the proposals to Submission and further follow up for results .
Very anti-women & faced lot of gender bias. Not suitable for ambitious working women, specially women engineers, technical personnel, suited for conservative women's jobs front-office or documentation only. No scope for career progress for ambitious, modern women employees.
Was involved in Business Development for 2 and half years approx. at Kolkata location. Dealt with overall Metro , Railway Infrastructure, Bridges, Highway projects & overall Bid Management - winning several high-value jobs during my tenure.
Bahut hi aachi company hai aur job ki puri security hai kaam kerne ka tarika bhi bahut aacha hai mughe to pasand aaya company staff bhi kafi supporting hai nice company. Aur company mai kafi latest technology hai.thanks. salary bhi time to time hai boss.

It's a terrible mistake. People are stubborn and arrogant. Your seniors don't care to listen to your opinions
You cannot leave the office on time. You have to work extra time daily. Seniors don't guide you they just dump job over you. Leave is not provided even though you have previlage leave in your hand. They shout at you for any mistake you make. The payment of salary is also delayed by 2 months.
They will recruite the people and sell them to their clients places as slaves. Old rigid people in top and middle management will newer update to modern standards. No give and take policy, only they think is to rule over employs. Lot of my colleagues are laid of illegal way without any compensation. The company will die soon.
If you designated to a good manager like I was then it is a great place to learn and the depth of work in STUP is phenomenal. No other structural design consultancy firm offers such depth and exposure.
Poor compensation and retention strategy. And sometimes culture also plays a degrading role.
Work is not hectic at all overall but at times it's demanding which is absolutely normal.
