Internal politics is so toxic. If you are lucky you will find a good boss. People are nice.co coworkers are excellent. Pathetic HR so much discrimination between permanent employee and others. I am talking about non-clinical work. Boss was good but the system is bad.

The list of issues with this place is endless,all the departments are vying for the top position in terms of incompetence,general apathy & making anyone frustrated enough to question their decision of ever joining this place.They overwork you & make you travel from one hospital(mpmmc to hbch) and viceversa.No one told them that to manage two hospitals one needs enough workforce for working there.The patient load is so much that by the time their turn comes for starting treatment it is already months from first consultation,they turn into palliative cases. The director & HOD take special pleasure in heckling new recruits & torturing them with threats of retribution & memos for slights to their swollen egos.Proffessionalism is non existent in this place, no scope for growth ,I actually forgot whatever I had learnt in my JRship.This issue is not just with one dept. ,every dept. has these issues.The hostel people are especially incompetent ,I went to visit my brother & told a housekeeper I was leaving they gave my empty room to someone else in the meantime even before I had officially told them about it.They then proceeded to hassle my friends because I went to meet them in the same hostel where I live ,insinuating that I spent my nights there....Everyone there is an apathetic , soulless being who relish harrassing employees.WORST PLACE EVER!!!...Read More

Tremendous opportunity to improve skills and an incredible patient load. Work culture is many times non-hierarchical and satisfying. Your grey cells will be challenged and you will surely improve.

The only problem is underpayment for the kind of professionals are here. Especially the joining salaries should be increased for young doctors.

Very challenging and satisfying work of making diagnoses for patients with cancer, take part in active discussion and generate your own data regarding patient management and follow-up.
