No pressure we can do the work peacefully as a fresherer if u don't like you can go for bench and relax.you can switch any project any time but release depends on manager.

Stupid corporate politics.if you get a hitler maneger he will spoil ur career with worst C/D ratings due to personal egos.top leadership is not taking care of employees hikes & recognitions in form of Hikes. Hike will be there but u can't see that in monthly salary that is a biggest miracle. No appraisals, no work life balance, no salary benefits, no work satisfaction. I would advise freshers not to join TCS as a primary option try in other companies as well before joining. Keep TCS as a last option i.e. like some thing is better than nothing only join when u r confirmed that there is no other option other than TCS.

Salary is industry low . Hike at 3 yr anniversary was 2% with 4.2/5 rating in performance appraisal . Slaved in the firm due to internal politics and 90 days notice period policy . Lose big time resolving ultimatix shit courses , tickets and RFCs that has nothing to do with project .No release from the project even after requesting DP for straight 12 months . I have been hospitalised and I’m a member of tcs from past 1 years I have applied to claim the insurance but the process hr have not taken any urgent action they will just let you die they don’t care All the care is about the salary and they try very best to force agent to put down the paper. Work culture, job security, work life balance if you want these 3, bingo!! This place is for you. You will get minimum opportunity to develop and strengthen your skills. If you get a good manager your life will be set. If you get someone like mine then you will leave the organization as soon as possible.

Salary is too much less. If you are retiring then join here you will get work satisfaction because at that tym you don't have the drive to learn new skills, challenge yourself every day. You have lived your life and now TCS will work as your holiday home.

Mostly I didn't liked the things here, there is no work life balance expressly in life sciences projects. We can't able to manage here for long time as fresher and also as entry level positions.

There are a lot of things that I didn't liked, mainly the hikes and promotions, these are negligible here it means the leads it managers won't care you as a human. They just need work from you.

I worked in one of the product units of TCS as a Developer. It was a mixed experience. The good - Job security Very good manager Very few days when I had to stretch beyond the regular working hours

The yearly hike monetary growth is very less in this era where inflation is 8-10 % per year yearly hike is 2-6% which keeps you financially very low and internal politics in appraisal/promotion and onsite opportunity are the biggest drawback and major dislike in the firm
