TCS is a good company to work. Work life is balance is good. You get good time to upgrade your skills professionally & personally. Job security is like top notch. If you are not doing anything illegal, No one can do anything.

Dislikes

Promotions & Salary hikes are so less. People don't get much appreciation for their work from their managers. Process is so slow in some areas like everyone has their own way of working.

Now a day after 2019 company management is not so good.. Everyone just looking only how to treat customer.. They just ignore employees every single word. How they will work how they will survive

Very low salary and hikes. High work load. Rude behaviour from manager and lead. Legacy tech and application. Bad company culture and policies. Manager does not allow emoloyees to participate in any celebration. Manager Assign multiple works and expect us to multi task -Raise voice at us and mentally harass us -The friday weekly meeting is like a horrible nightmare -Donot respect each other and see us as a 'resource' -Always contemptous towars others -Will not participate in any celebrations -Every body is afraid to ask him doubt or even talk to him -Sits near ODC door and watches when everybody come and leaves offices -Doesnt like any noise in ODC even mobile ringing -The phone ring from his office phone gives a mild heart attack -Doesnot appreciate good works -People from his team has no time to participate in other cultural activities - HR is affraid to talk to him -Doesnot like persons from hr/admin speak in his ODC. Everything.. Starting from worklife balance, culture, people there aren't skilled enough, no way to learn things, the company doesn't promote celebrations of festivals, no bonus or incentives.. Hikes and increments aren't given properly, promotion system is too poor there. Employees aren't motivated in the company.. And there's nothing such cultural activities to boost employees.

The managers and employees attitude. One such manager Mohit Pandey in TCS iON delivery team dont know the team and people management and hence give work to silent and sincere employees and other employees who resist to do work by giving any reasons like the are not understanding the process and take frequent leaves, enjoy to get salary juat for attending the office and roaming. Even after 6 months of trainings, these employyes need hand holding and spoon fiding, which the managers tell sincere employees to do, along with their overloaded tasks. Extremely low pay, late promotions or I would say no promotions, too much, no easy release from projects, too much office politics, no promotion based on performance/rating. No allowances on time, even if you're in a dedicated project still u won allocation will keep on changing every month which cause payments delays.
