The best part about TCS? Job security — it's like a golden cage. And the Tata brand? It earns me respect from uncles who think I'm changing the world, when really, I'm just stuck in meetings about meetings.

Dislikes

I can't speak for others, but in my project, everything has been extremely unprofessional. My team lead didn’t even bother introducing me. It took 20 days just to get a laptop and almost 2 months to receive access. HR promised me a minimum of 60–80% variable pay, but I only received 20%. On top of that, I worked 94% from the office with 100% utilization.

Company have multiple projects based on foreign companies which employee has chance to go onsite and work. Most important is they provide job security if any projects ends then they will use to get assigned other projects to employees.

Dislikes

Every employee loves company and expecting good salary but TCS is not giving expected salaries to employees and no good pramotion.

Managers at tcs have no empathy when employee is having medical issue and on death bed they are expecting the employee to call and inform about the leave. I was puking continuously due to food poison in the mid of the night till morning after sometime i could find blood in my vomit which panicked me morning my parents toook me to hospital and i was given drips cos i had no energy to open my eyes therefore i had basic concious to inform the company abt the leave today i tried calling once and the so called female manager didnt receive the call and then i informed my dad to inform her and i passed out. My dad tried calling and texted her abt the issue. She replied stating its okay sir take care. Today at office she was speaking another manager saying her father called and informed she was sick and i told him this behaviour is not accepted employee shpuld inform where in am at hospital out of concious and she also told continuous leave is not accepted wt shd we do when we are sick then ? Why managers are double tongued? Are they not human to understand human issues?...Read More

Good for people who already have Good salary package , non ambitious and want stability in life , not good for people who Want to grow in life . It provides you good option though for career switch between technologies which can be a boon for tech lovers .

Office politics , no recognition for hard work , appreciation by gems rather financially. Promotion and hike depends on mood of management. Dnt expect to get good band even if you are top performer , totally depends on budget and management politics .

Growth is most factor here. Each employee of TCS is eligible for 2 digit growth every year. It makes people to sustainin any company for longer period. But currently it's missing. Insurance provided by company is for you and your spouse but it does not cover our own parents. I wish the things will become employee friendly.
