No such work-life balance thing left in company, very very very micromanagement from management, no good hike (most of the cases 2-5%). Don’t need to think about promotions, no promotions. Working hours flexible but flexibility means start early level very late even midnight.

Only CA is getting promoted, Pathetic Promotions, Bias management will take out work from one and pay to their favourite in appraisals. Senior managements fixes all promotions and appraisal as per their favourites. Less leaders and more bosses

Best part of working in Vodafone is that we were not required to go to office, just once or twice in a month office visit was fine also salary provided was also very good.

No learning, rotational shifts including night shifts, everyday used to work for 10+ hours and working during weekends also

Other than work life balance literally didn't find anything good here. People are unprofessional. Learning is next to nothing if you are looking for growth. No scope for onsite. Projects have people who want just a paycheck and nothing else who have been here for over a decade which is making this place toxic. People are so nosy about other people's personal lives . Everything depends on your line manager( previously I had good manager)Ahmedabad office is fully BPO cultured with BPO managers ( all locals with 10-20 years in same company) leading now SCM processes they pretend to be oversmart and do fake motivational talks. Outside leaders are not getting hired and employees have to suffer from micro management

Pay scale is below average Compensation disparity also there for same position . Higher management is enjoying timely promotion and pay perks but lot of cost cutting for lower band employees. Management is not approachable and don't care how team is handled and employees are treated. Less Job security( putting on PIP) if you are not bootlicker. Time Micromanagent by having software like time doctor etc. No HR involvement in anything (only email communications for birthday etc), your toxic line manager is your God here .Ahmedabad office all SCM processes are led by incompetent BPO managers who previously worked in Vodafone call centres from last 15 years mostly locale .Team size getting reduced day by day, you have to work all day to complete tasks assigned to you still no acknowledgement for work. While performace review and appraisal they will tell what other you have done apart from BAU this and that. Only 2-5% hikes offered. No promotions for years and years. Internal job postings are there but they will select only their favourite candidates which is already decided. Learning platform are there but for namesake ( you will get no time during work hour to upgrade yourself ). Leaves are decent but it depends team strength and availability of staff all the time to avail them( prior approval from managers). No job security, usually you join for one project , u work on different project. Thing keep changing on top level, line manager usually don't have any long term vision for team. Very less chance for internal hiering, for internal job you need setting or they have strict criteria same like external candidates. So no opportunity to work on different technologies.
