Field monitoring was left only to the Govt officers. WHO Consultant were taught to find fault & complain, & be a crying baby without any impact or waiting at the mercy of Govt Officials .Implementation of any program needs strong technical field monitoring & education to staff members . WHO Trainers tried to impress to implement the programme through Lap Top. Sorry Lap Tops may help but without field implementation & monitoring RNTCP can not succeed in India. Does India need WHO' S help, when we have enough experts ?!

Dislikes

WHO Program NPOs never allowed to monitor at the field level. They behave worse than bureaucrats & always behaved arrogantly. No encouragement to the field consultants. Next came a NPO who is half American Indian , did not have any knowledge of Indian geographical conditions. All of them not only behaved arrogantly but in a dictotarial manner & always sword of throwing out any one of us at any time hanging on Consultants . No body had guts to challenge them. These type of bosses should be thrown out of India. India has enough experts to guide us to stop TB

Work

Unsatisfactory, Success of any program needs field implementation & continuous monitoring which was never allowed to be performed. Field visits & monitoring & educating the field staff is essential for success .Hardly any such activities were followed up.
