The organization is high unstructured. Everybody want everything yesterday which means, you are constantly under stress and pressure. Literally no work life balance. The organization is extremely hierarchical. For example, you wont get your confirmation or promotion letter from HR. It would be forwarded to your manager and who would share it with you. So, you have to be in alignment with your manager, even if you know the decision is wrong. The quality manager role take multiple meaning and responsibilities within the organization. Sometimes you would be called as line quality manager, Pex team, SQA, etc. all meaning one and the same, thus leading to tons of confusion. Being a quality manager, you are supposed to drive improvements within your project. However, being an hierarchical organisation, Wipro BPS allow only grade based access to deliver improvement.
