Everything depends on what kind of project or manager you work with. Still I had a very bad experience (not with my manager) with other managers who are very rude with no context. No empathy. I have experienced few managers atleast don't address you properly , don't know what kind of corporate culture they are following. Policies are at worst

Work from Office presure, no proper facilities in campus and outside. Salary is not decided according to study and experience. Using us as a labour showing appraisal and mtech for wilp candidates. Working for 10 hrs in office and 3 hrs in cab including buffer time. Wilp program is very stressful compared to Work in project.

Meager salary hike. Slow promotion. many people are in the free pool, not enough projects for freshers, still company hire in large numbers. Freshers have to wait even for a year to get into a project and even if freshers get tagged into a project they are forced to work on technologies that are not being used by other product-based companies. Because of the low opportunity and slow learning curve, I won't recommend any service-based company. For experienced also, I advise you not to come into Wipro, the company will not give more than a 5% salary hike. The company didn't give a salary hike for the 2022-23 cycle to many resources that were billable into the project and it also cut variable pay for many quarters. Wipro doesn't value their workers in terms of salary hikes. Company is willing to hire someone else with a hire package but doesn't give it to your existing employees, even if you are billable....Read More

Working in Wipro BPS was a great journey of self improvement. However, the benefits or appraisals are poor in Wipro BPS. Which need to be improved.

I want to thanks Wipro to select me as a fresher and to gave a chance to served their company almost 2 year. However personally my experience was not much good.

As I was joined in UHG CS from UMR was terrible experience. Personally my Supervisor was no more helpful and informative, I had a terrible experience in her team. She needs to update her way of talking. And I believe she needs to take care of her behaviour with the employee. Management, Manager and HR needs to listen from their employees as well respectively to justify the details not for show off/ show cause. I'm not talking about Wipro company that it's not good. But I am trying to mean their working culture and environment needs to pure not cleverness in nature. Salary is not good enough in Wipro as per the market price. I completed a project in Uber in Banglore in August 2021. I had movement new project in Airbnb in Hyderabad in March 2022. It I employees at month 7 in year 4. I completed employees on July 17 2024. The Team Leader talked about quality. I need a job search.

Everything. If you are ambitious in life, this company is not for you. If you want a easy comfortable life with no progress/growth, this will be the perfect company for you to rot for 10-15 years and become a lead or manager.

Everything is terrible at Wipro from their manager to their senior manager too much office politics. And no stability once the project's get over they will terminate you. Especially if you are from Mumbai don't join Wipro ghansoli location ( in ghansoli there is client location from client location you'll have to work).

Wipro has many clients especially in Banking Industry just because it provides very cheap service to its clients. So getting a project is easy here.

1.Not sure why I decided to join Wipro after 10 years in the IT industry. The Client I joined was really nice that's why I believe. But I regret my decision. Wipro is one of the poorest MNCs in terms of Work Culture after TCS in India. Why It has business? just because it provides cheap service to it's clients. It doesn't provide quality service and it can't because most unprofessional and less skilled people work here. 2.You might get 2-3% hike each year if you're lucky(Talking about my level only, not sure about others) . 3. This company might be good for freshers and early career professional. Most of the projects are covered by mainly early career professionals But Skilled and Experienced candidates should never join this company because it is not for people who love problem solving,challenges and innovation. You won't find that culture here. Only lazy people who care about job security only are appropriate for this company. 4. Wipro is full of non- technical Project Managers and PMOs and they just approves your timesheets and leaves and performs clerical jobs. Now the pain point is if they become your people manager, they won't care about your growth or anything and this is evident because they are not leaders and they lack the cultural aspects of People Management. Thus your efforts go in vein. 5. The culture of "Not Replying" is everywhere here. If you ping HR/Your Manager Or someone for any help or any other reason, it will be seen and ignored and if they wish they might reply you after 7- 10 days by that time you have forgotten your problem. The people here are good and helpful in nature. Ethically strong Company. Work flexibility is there plus the Company provides good opportunities and responsibilities with trust to even freshers and junior employees.

Dislikes

The pay is average specially for the people who are associated for the Company for a long time. Company doesn't do market correction unless and until you decide to leave the Organisation. Whereas Company is okay to pay higher salary for external hires. Appraisal and Promotion is below market average.

Wipro's working culture is excellent, very good employees, all the employees of wipro are very well discipline and manner. They always adhere to the Wipro's policies and procedures. I wish that I could get an opportunity once again to work on wipro.
