Nothing at all. Horrible place to work. People are arrogant to talk to and they are frustrated 365 days a year ! Promotions are only for those who appear to work and not work at all. Hard working people are just sidelined and loaded with more work.

Dislikes

Staff/Employees are under-trained and they lack knowledge and the team is never at full strength. There is no attention paid to required man power and current team strength inspite of repeated requests and escalations. They make you carry computers to another location if network fails and there are no available computers at another location. The processes are not streamlined at all. They hire you for one location and send you to another as per their convenience as and when required. Inspite of the working hours being 9.30 to 18.30, People leave everyday after 8 or 8.30. There is network issue at almost all office locations and this is never resolved inspite of escalations to higher level authorities. HR is a big scam. They are very rude and unprofessional people. They will trick you by luring you with a good hike and still cut the medi-claim policy(company is supposed to pay for that) amount from your 4 months in-hand salary, which they claim to be a part of your CTC. List is endless.

Work

If you want to make a career, please don't join this organization. There is nothing to learn here at all. You will end up getting frustrated in a few months time. I deeply regret joining this Organization and hope to leave as early as possible.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US and Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client’s location. Mine is a US based client and they have some offices in Toronto, hence I got a B1 visa quickly. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration.

Guys my name is Deep Sehgal having 3 years 6 months experience with HDFC Bank and 8 months experience with YES Bank
YES bank is one of the most pathetic place to work.
They will hire you by giving you a good salary hike. After this you will be working in this company for about 1 year. In this one year you will try your best to get business from your own contacts. After this you will be kicked out of the organization.
Very high attrition rate.
If you don't trust my words then please go to any of the branches e.g Kolkata Prince Anwar Shah Branch and have a look to the attendance register and check past 1 year record and check out the attrition rate of this rubbish bank.
This bank itself claim that 90% of the employees working here are Young.
It means no old and experienced employees are working here.
The situation here is so bad that if you ask your senior regarding any process of a work, they won't be able to help you out. Because they themselves are new to the bank.

Dislikes

I liked nothing.
Please go through the likings of my post where I have written all the things which I don't like about this bank

As I have joined as a fresher so I got to learn very much from here... My bosses and bosses of other departments also very supportive and taught me a lot about the work what they have experienced... They give me every time new responsibilities and challenges which makes me flexible and risk taking... Here I have learnt both how to serve and how to lead...

Dislikes

I don't like the politics going on between the employees which attracts conflicts. Salary increment/ appraisal system is very poor and in my case its not happened till now so one cannot last here for long period according to me...

Work

As I am working under retail asset operation and service department so firstly I was doing only PL it was exciting but ding the same thing regularly is boring but still it is helpful to learn many things as different files have different criteria...

Yes Bank pays better than industry standards.

Dislikes

Absence of defined processes. Too many approval levels leading to unnecessary delay in any task. Senior management seem completely oblivious to the underlying system and plan way ahead of the Bank's current capability.
HR policies are very weak. HR sees not wearing a tie to office as a punishable offence, but there is no measure to stop blatant abuse of employees by their seniors using the most deplorable cuss words one can think of. It is better to not speak of work-life balance in Yes Bank. The starting time is taken very seriously but no one cares if the employee stays as late as midnight.

Work

I work in the technology department. All I can say is that the planning is always done carefully here, but the execution of the plan is equally shabby.

It's very close to my house which saves lot of commuting time. Also hr department is very active and conducts various workshop for employees wellness.

Dislikes

A very long list of things. Work timings I spend 14- 15 hrs per day in office. No compensation for late working not even dinner and taxi fare. Very poor and buggy systems leading to lot of time wastage. Idiotic dress code known as yes personality. Frequent indications from top management that they don't want people and may lead to staff cuts. Lot of so called benefits are recovered from own salary like insurance and Mediclaim and CTC is very misleading

Work

Very harrowing and frustrating experience as you will be forced to process incorrect transactions contravening rbi guidelines.

Working at Yes Bank was a great experience for me, an opportunity to learn a lot in a very friendly environment, we worked as a team, and grew as a team, conquering in all the situations and issues, sales pressure in Yes bank is not as much as other banks, it is more customer centric than sales driven organisation, salary is good at par or better than other similar organisations, appraisal is based on your performance, but usually people get good bonus, rating, promotion and increment in appraisal, people here grow faster than other organisation, hardwork is constantly rewarded.

Dislikes

I didn't dislike a single thing about YesBank, for me I got an opportunity to learn and grow.

Work

It can never be boring when you deal with customers directly, because you get chance to meet and interact with new people and by facing new challenges you get to learn a lot.

Worst company I have ever seen.
In Eight months around 12 people left the job from the same branch.... I don't know how they are managing such high attrition rate.
I was with prince anwar shah branch Kolkata, my colleagues who were working with other branches also left.
If I take three branches... More than 40 employees left...
Branches included are Prince Anwar Shah Branch, Russell street branch and Tollygunge Branch.
If you want to join Yes Bank... Join it on your own risk.
Please have a look into the attendance sheet of the bank, you can observe the level of attrition rate...
Poor very poor organization.

Relatively better monetary compensation compared to peer Banks. Decent training.

Dislikes

Horrible culture. Those who joined in or prior to 2010 have enjoyed a stellar career growth, but everyone who joined after that have had to carry loads of 2-3 people.
Most unorganized and imbalanced in terms of processes. Highest variation in workloads, designations, targets & appraisal between different departments.
Largely direction-less and most priorities are set as per whims and fancies of middle management, which could vary on a weekly basis.
Was extremely top heavy before the mass firing of 2017-18.

Work

Extremely hectic. Unfairly large distribution of workload and responsibility to the front line staff
