In India among all the service based companies, Accenture is only probably still cares about employees time and work life balance. The policy are very strict and clear empowering the employees to take the time to reflect on themselves.

Dislikes

The pay structure could be updated to the needs of the current market. The HR communication for new hires is the worst. HR needs serious audit.

Likes

Learning opportunities are provided but employees cannot attend due to work load.

Dislikes

Salary is too low.. Not at all matches to the work we do. No promotion and appraisal. Hike is based upon favouritism. Extended work shift. Less leaves are granted. Its all about work work and work. No peace!!

People are supportive here. It also depends on your team. I am fortunate to get a very supportive team. WFH assistance of 18k provided in the beginning to equip your wfh setup. Infrastructure is good. Overall better than other service based companies.

Dislikes

...ions and hikes delayed for a particular year quoting company’s revenue not good. I have received no salary hike since I joined. Don’t know about other teams.

Management is extremely toxic. There is no hike within the company since last 2 years. No WLB. Sick leaves depend on state your office is in. For West Bengal, it follows state policy. For everything, you have to beg the management. Even for returning the laptop on LWD you have to constantly ask your manager to approve your laptop submission request. New projects that Accenture is getting are not good. The quality is gone. Earlier Accenture used to at the top of all service based companies in terms of employee satisfaction but the management has made the environment extremely toxic. People work 14 hours a day here and no one questions it. It seems to have become a norm now.

Accenture is great place to work as it provides work life balance. U get good benefits and bonus as well. Projects are also good in Accenture.

Dislikes

Accenture do not provide good projects for the associates/freshers. They put u in the very old technology related project which hampers the growth of the individual and u lack behind in the technology. Also it's upto ur luck also which projects u get!!
