I would like to share some insights on my experience at Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company, specifically in relation to my reporting manager and certain aspects of our work environment. While I acknowledge the company's growth and potential as a brand, there are certain areas that I believe need attention and improvement. Unfortunately, my experience with my reporting manager has been less than favorable. Their communication style and interpersonal skills are lacking, which has created a strained dynamic between us. The way they interact with subordinates is often abrasive and disrespectful, creating an uncomfortable working atmosphere. This not only impacts morale but also makes it difficult to effectively collaborate and contribute to the team. Additionally, I've noticed a concerning pattern in how the results of my work are perceived. Regardless of the outcome, there seems to be a lack of acknowledgment for my contributions. This sentiment is further exacerbated by the feeling that anyone else, even those unrelated to our field, could have achieved the same results. This approach diminishes the value of individual efforts and undermines the motivation to excel. Transparency within the team is another area of concern. There appears to be a lack of clear communication regarding the expectations and goals of our projects. This ambiguity creates frustration and uncertainty among the team, as we often find ourselves grappling with evolving requirements and shifting priorities. This lack of clarity not only affects productivity but also dampens the enthusiasm to innovate and take ownership of our work. Furthermore, the absence of proper guidance and training is evident in the delayed induction process. Waiting for six months before receiving adequate training for the role can hinder new employees' ability to contribute effectively. This delayed onboarding can impact the overall performance of the team and potentially lead to avoidable mistakes. In conclusion, while I understand that Aditya Birla Company is on a growth trajectory, there are critical areas that need improvement to create a more positive and productive work environment. Addressing concerns related to communication, recognition of individual efforts, transparency in work, and timely induction training would significantly enhance the overall employee experience. I hope that the company can take these observations into consideration as it continues to evolve and expand as a brand.

It is an employee centric organisation which provides good salary if you join from outside. Also different employee development initiatives are taken by them.

Dislikes

The work culture is bad and no one has the sense of ownership to the customer. Everyone just works for the sake of salary regardless what happens in their department. You will never have the work satisfaction here.
