Why is CTC such a big thing in India?
My contract’s ending soon, so I have been job hunting, I don’t get this why do Indian employers always ask for my current CTC? Every. Single. Time. Even the job application forms have it as a mandatory field! But when I’ve worked with international clients or companies abroad, they never once asked. It was always about the role, responsibilities, and what they were offering. Why does it feel like here, your current pay decides your future one? Can someone explain what’s the logic behind this obsession with CTC in India?

Extreme micromanagement, no salary given, dumb and unethical reporting manager Divya Arora who does not even know the basic technicalities of digital marketing, MS office, etc. what's worse ? She does not even know how to draft ab email in English. She acts as a of Chairman to save her job. Poor lady who is absolutely insolent and pathetic, whom you would want to punch in the face everytime you see her infront. She tries to follow unethical methods in Digital Marketing such as ChatGPT content, paid followers from websites, and zero efforts in genuine projects. HR Sahila is such a big liar, never tells about company policies, hides critical information, never picks calls and an evil personality. Accountant gives wrong information regarding PF details. All their facilities are illiterate, rude, and mentally disturbed. Chairman is an inhuman person who cannot even talk properly, thief who never gives salary to those who deserve. They have been used by innumerable employees due to this same issue and attrition rate here is 90% on a quarterly basis. His children Aarush & Arjita who study in abroad but God knows what they study because they are active on WhatsApp 24*7 and send messages that make no sense and show their wierd knowledge of Management. Big show off, Terrible! The institute Pays thrid party companies to raise their employees rating reviews online on Glassdoor and Ambition box and have been many time reported too. Never fall for their fake ratings! It's a big big trap to spoil your career.
