Dislikes

1. Salary & Benefits are decent and good in comparison to overall market. 2. Free drinks and food wallet with Rs 120 / day 3. Pretty decent work life balance with good amount of leaves Only three likes or pros that I can find at BNY Mellon

1. Forget Job Security if you prepare to join this firm. They can fire you at anytime. I have seen laterals sacked within few months of hire. Very poor Job Security in entire market. Even startups seems more reliable. Question to management - If you don't have any plan then why you want to hire? 2. Learning through work is very limited as many of them work in outdated and stone age tech & practices 3. Appraisals are an eye wash just like other firms. They claim of a robust performance management & appraisal practice's. But they do not have consolidated rating system. They rate you across pillars / goals, but never give you a consolidated rating

... More salary for people joined from other companies and lesser salary for more tenured staff. Paying more salary for re-hires by giving big hike for who left the company and went out to other companies already with big hike. Senior management unaware of ground reality and thinking everything is fine. More attrition and less backfill to show efficiency.

Dislikes

You will be fired anytime when the management feels like they don't need you. No job security and ruining a lot of careers. They keep everything so discreet that it does not come out in the open about lay offs or any negative news. Favouritism and Partiality at it's best. It is use and throw organization.
