Good work life balance depends upon the project you get placed here. I got an good European project so it was good enough. Work life balance are only to be preferred when you work in a product based company and Capgemini is a service based company, so as i said don't expect work life balance in service based companies.

... about in Capgemini. I served here for 3 years and not even a single rupee hike. So better get a good deal of package or else you can only dream about hike

... no appraisal. People are working more than shift time and getting disappointed. People with less knowledge is having more salary. Don't know how they are managing company culture.

My personal experience has been good with the people around me. The project i worked on was a long term project and client facing and the client team were really amazing as well. Work life balance was good for me.

The annual hikes are one of the worst in the industry. This is the reason many people switch over for better salary and benefits.

Worst compensation. Designations does not matter. You get 6% hike even if you get promoted with very low salary. But the responsibilities you get for the promotion will be as if they compensated you well and good. Not sure HR has a heart in this company. If you try talking with them, they will divert you from the topic of salary discussion and will try to get away from that conversation.

Learning Opportunities and platforms like Udemy, Coursera are provided for free. Job security is good. Work life balance is fine

Less salary, politics during promotions. If you are under a good manager, everything will be good or else you are the scapegoat
