Very employee friendly company. Company financials and reputation in North America is very good. No dearth for projects. Moving from one BU to another is easy. Very flexible culture when other IT companies are forcing and threatening employees to return to office, CGI is requesting members to come to office atleast once a week. Senior management is very approachable and open to ideas.

Dislikes

Salary is lesser compared to market standards. But it is ok while considering the flexible work culture and job security. My 6th year in the company and I still love going to work everyday.

There were no bonus till today, not even one rupee they will pay for the employees benefits and for their health and also company is making profit out of employees but not doing anything for them. No proper transport facility and they expect everyone to come to office on our own risk. No holiday throughout the year especially India but for other countries they will give vacation for some days (ex: New year, Christmas) Indian festival holidays will be considered as Restricted Holiday. We have to get approval from our RM for the these festival Holiday as well. We have to work for these days as well. You will not get recognition for what you are doing from the company and also whenever you join the company will give the promotion and hikes only in the month of December end. Sad but true company is over all making profit making employees to work and not providing proper facilities for them so that they can rise the market price and to attract the investers is their over all strategy that's it. #Not taken care for Employees and their families.
