There is nothing to like in the Company. Worst startup ever.

...). Not a single expert in the company for the Technology used.(ROR abd React). Employees here don't even think about Appraisals as they are always worried about there basic monthly salary. Company can even reduce the base(fixed component) of the salary without informing. They will fire people specially on the last days of the months just before salary day..so that they don't have to give salary for that month... Your slary will be reduced based on the performance which includes timely work submission...but this is only for basic employees not for HR team(worst ever HR TEAM) as they can never ever complete there slary process on time... The minimum they will give salary on 3-4th of month(stated in contract that worst case would be the first week of the month) which is the best case scenario as i never got salary before 5th of the month in past couple of years of experience.... This company should be banned not only from IITS, Niits but from all.the engineering colleges as they play with the career of freshers... They will.hire with false CTC dreams in campus placements and will fire them within probation period(3months) without prior notice. Not like.one or two they fires whole batch of 50-60 (talking about tech only) which is like 20% of the strength. Company started with a dream of capturing logistic market with tech but its now just a hobby for the CEOs to earn some free money for which they can use anyone and Anytime they like because they got there pet managers....

It appears that there are no positive aspects to highlight about this company based on my experiences and concerns.

Dislikes

...the office premises from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, resembling a jail-like environment. Any absence results in salary deductions. Weekend Work: Saturdays are often working days, causing further strain on employees without providing employment benefits. Joining Cogoport had a profound impact on my life, resulting in financial instability, mental distress, and physical strain.

Colleagues. Because they only hire from top colleges in India like IIT, IIIT and NIT.

Dislikes

...ows: 1) They give higher CTC so they can enter the college placement earlier. 2) Dont expect to get bonus part in the CTC, because before that you will be fired. 3) Entry time - 10:30 AM. Post that you can't enter. Gates remain closed from 10:30 - 6:30. In that duration you can't get outside. 4) BYOD policy i.e you have to buy your own laptop and they will give max 75% of 90000 i.e around 65000 in EMI for 2 years. Again remember point 2. You won't get the money back because you will be fired within 1-2 months. 5) There are so many Cons. Read other answers also. Before joining please reach out to employees or ex employees. 6) After reading this, if you decide to join. All the best. 7) Also they mention about joining bonus. Before few days of your joining they will tell that they have recently changed the policy and will give after probably which for 3 months, it can extend as per their layoff plans. 8) One of the layoff parameter is deviation hour, means how much time you stay in company after 9 hours. They expect that you to stay there for 2-3 hours more than usual 9 hour shift. 9) Odd Saturdays are working days. Again deviation comes into play. So almost like a full day only.

Nothing to like here.

Dislikes

Every promises they mad was fake. Poor work life balance, salary cut , strict timings. Layoffs occur every month. Gates are closed from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm and you are not allowed to move outside the office campus. If one has to prioritise thier physical and mental health, they must avoid joining this company.

Nothing , there is absolutely nothing to like about.

Dislikes

...ether you are the least performer. You will be damn fired for no reason at all. 19) Salary cuts on a monthly basis is a new fashion here. People hired from prestigious colleges by luring attractive packages but after a month cutting 15% then 25% then 75% unnecessarily by stating not satisfactory with you performance. 20) No work life balance. 21) No Severance package or notice period or anything after firing employees. The procedure happens in a 5 minute fashion and a guard will arrive at your desk to throw you out instantly.
