No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Only Dabur Brands image in market is good and timely salary is credited. Before FY 2020 company culture was much better but post Leadership change things have deteriorated drastically with regards to employee orientation. Now the environment is full of anxiety and stress which is leading to illness.

Pathetic Work culture. No work ethics at all, no employee learning and development. Highly de -motivational environment. No consideration/recognition for hard work. Company culture is filled with Politics. Will strongly recommend not to join Dabur as they will compromise with their mental health.

No work life balance, ASM don't know to to behave with employee every single day after joining you will regret that why we came here. Even after secondary go good asm will try go find any shitt reason to defame you. Will keep calling you shitt. Hr is dumb here they know nothing about hr policies. Abusive language used by asm. Under this territory more than 15 SO changed in just 8 month. Pathetic life asm will call you in sunday to work in market. No work life balance. Anyone who wanted to join dabur try to ignore east region majorly.

...e important things which I'm sharing it here. I worked at Ayurvedic division. In this division there has no career growth as well as less salary increments with no theory or pattern. They judge as per their own pattern. Now comes to HR department. In one word they are worthless. India's top Ayurvedic company like Dabur has this kind of HRD which is not acceptable. They have no authority in increament, promotion strategy and control over any employee. They want 60 days notice period. But they need to join employees as earliest. They are controlled by higher management. As an example, I worked more than 12 years, my immediate manager Mr. Amitav Dutta has terrible behaviour and nature. He always humiliate his own team members. In his career he is holding 14 years in same position and forcely or harassed mentally to un-counted team members for resign. Recently within 7 months he has forced to resign 5 team members including me. But still HRD has not taken any action on his behaviour and attitude except formal warning. My settlement they completed after 4 months. So as per my suggestion and experience never join Dabur specially in West Bengal Ayurvedic division under Mr. Amitav Dutta. I've all the proof what I mentioned here.
