For those who don't have any other options, they can come as a last option.

Dislikes

Not a good company as manipulation of salary towards base salary against which no good retirement benefits i.e. pf, gratuity, leave encashment,etc.

One of the worst work cultures. In less than a year our team worked under 3 different managers so it was very hard to start from the scratch since training them wwre also our job (practically i was made to do their job while training them, it was so dumb). They Hired me for service improvement role but no matter what suggestion I got to the table, it would be dismissed or ignored. But when the same thing is pointed out or demanded by the client(s) they'll jump right away. There's 0 proactiveness among upper management, there was this one instance where the client was extremely disappointed with the service and our senior manager asked the client what his expectations are! That was one of the worst way to get back, because as someone from the service industry you should know what the expectations/requirements would be. When the account went live none of the agents were trained on communications or customer experience, when I pitched for the training post listening to some of the calls, they immediately rejected my proposal stating it won't be feasible. There were shortage of resources (associates), TLs, QAs, no trainer, but more than 15 people in Ops!! I worked for a year and couldn't understand what those 15 ppl's roles were except a couple of them, as the rest of them neither contributed nothing nor attend any meetings. I later found out most of the people among the 15 were close with the SDM of the account, he gave them some fancy role codes and the billing codes just so that they can get paid for doing nothing. I have never come accross such cheap politics where they were eating the company's money so openly and the only way to get promoted is to become a member of "bucket holding community"🤦‍♀️ anyway.. on my work's standpoint it was extremely frustrating as there 0 cooperation from the leadership in terms of improvement, they would never take a proactive approach and wait for escalations after which they'll start coming up with action items blah blah! Work locations are extremely far from the main cities, it's the case with all the HCl locations. Cab services were poor! Overall I had a horrible experience with HCL so I decided to quit in less than a year! Now I'm happily working in a startup company where my inputs and projects are very much welcomed and appreciated.

Always I had a salary issue. Still HCL TECH has not provided me my client/captive allowance of December 2022. After relieving, company do not have to keep an employee salary amount but HCL Tech has deducted my client allowance without any proper reason. HR & manager also do not give their proper response & does not get back to their employee regarding the query asked through email or call. Work culture and management behavior is very poor. HCL Tech cheat their employees in terms of salary. Salary was the main reason to resign HCL TECH.
