Campaigns and targets are unending. No before hand information given and planning done by higher ups regarding targets and campaigns. All of of a sudden one friday they'll declare about a campaign, and will expect BM to achieve it even by sacrificing holidays. Work-life balance is non existent, EOD blocking done everyday for one thing or the other to make sure Branch staffs dont pack up before 8.30-9pm.Read More

...The bank ks extremely toxic, doesn’t want staff to grow, extreme level of politics in transfer and salary payments unlike other govt banks where they have transparency in salary payments. The bank is not following the IBA guidelines and suppressing the voice of employee who tries to expose their cunning behaviour. Newly joined POs are not left untouched from this blood boiling frustration, they are treated like Bonded Labours , I request if anyone who has just cleared IBPS to not even think of joining this pathetic bank in the rarest of their dreams, we are stuck here we don’t have any other way to have peace owning to our family responsibilities now. I hope the bank gets private asap so that at least some heed is paid to improve the pathetic condition of the management of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB).Read More

The Indian overseas bank is one of the leading PUBLIC sector Bank. Job security is excellent and carrer growth is average as reservation policy of central govt. Is strictly implemented. Regarding salary it is satisfactory not excellent. Traing and work culture is more than excellent what I felt within my 31 yrs of service. The dislikes are as I am from general category the promotional prospects were kin competition. The salary structure was better while I jioned, later in last two salary revisions psu bank employees are getting less salary than GOI employees.Read More

... Actually there is no work pressure , no value addition in the Bank's business month on month, and still u r being paid a decent salary. Salary is at par with banking industry but perks are at lower side. Bank forgets u once u r hired. So no grooming also. If u like it, it is d best bank to work for. ;)Read More
