No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Appraisal system, training to top rated employees, Campus selected employees, on time salary, all eligible benefits on time. HR system is very string. System based. Not personal request required.

Working culture and behaviour of sinior is good for junior and contractual staffs. Bachelor accommodation and transportation is sufficient, HR support is nice to all. Freedom for jobs is one of good sing in here.

Dislikes

...ance family and work. Permanent ship is very rear chance for contractual staffs. Incriment yearly 5% on basic salary, which is unbelievable for this company. No future for contractual staffs.

Dislikes

You will be ask to work for other discipline. Least exposure to skills of your area. Zero work life balance. 6 days are official working day but you will be forced to work on each holiday and week off. Even one of my colleague is asked/forced to postpone his own marriage. Only site job with extreme low allowances. No chance of getting transfer to your preferred location. 8-8 job.
