In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. Salary is less and also company belives in pay parity which leads to same pay for people who do the bare minimum and for people who go the extra mile, this is unfair. Promotions are too slow.

The company has a great culture, people are treated with respect. Employees are given time to perform if they are struggling. The office has a very flexible time schedule and work hours. As long as the work gets done no one will interfere with when you login or log out. Promotions are dependent on business growth. However, the promotion hikes are barely 20%.

The company offers very limited pay with 4-6% hike on every appraisal. It's a great company to be at when you are already satisfied with your pay and want to keep pace with inflation. Not when you are looking to grow.
