    it is a big company having world level targets. collective efforts for achieving any set target. salary and allowances are comfortable.

    Dislikes

    Motivational methods like promotion etc. are de-railed and needs to be corrected in line with best available policies in world level companies. work life balance to be improve. Minimum political interference, is the need of the hour.

    They follow self proclaimed so called best HR practices. But ground reality is opposite. They recently started hiring lateral experienced engineers in low level giving low salary but make them work every possible way.

    NTPC provides good remuneration and compensation w.r.t. all terms. NTPC is top management driven company. It is really challenging job. Medical facilities is extremely good. You may avail this facility even after retirement.

    Place of posting is at remote. Transfer policy is slightly tough now a days.

    NTPC is a Maharana company. The company's salary is very good and providing all facilities like accommodation, free medical facilities ,liveries,leave encashment,centeen facilities, etc. Company has its own township with all amenities like club,Jim, guest house shopping centre etc. The company's policy is excellent. It is an executive oriented company. The employees are highly satisfied with regard to all facilities.

    Promotion policy is not up to the mark.
