Compensation is low compared to other companies. Also, the work culture slowly turning into service-based culture similar to IBM. After IBM takeover there has been tremendous changes in leadership owing to which stability is hampered and we are unsure of what should be our main goal or accomplishment

Access to free Red Hat certification. Quarterly bonus payout. Not compulsory to come to office and can continue to work from home.

Dislikes

No appraisal cycle. Entirely up to manager whether to give appraisal and if the current manager leaves, then back to square one where need to prove yourself again. One needs to be extremely good at show-off. Do less and talk more as if the reverse is done thinking let the work speak then you are no way moving ahead.

IBM Brand name attached now. Work Culture is good. People usually don't indulge in politics. Job security is excellent. No layoffs during the pandemic. Learning opportunities are there but you need to spend time in the organization to get that. Lots of emphasis on one's tenure in the organization. More the number of years spent, more respect the person gets. Management is good and pretty cool about things. No micro management.

Dislikes

Salary is on the lower side than the market. Also the appraisals are not consistent. Career growth will become stagnant is there is not much job role change when one gets promoted. There are less opportunities for IJP's Yet to get the benefit of being an IBM company. This should reflect in people getting more job opportunities to go to internally.
