There is nothing special in liking Star Cement, the only thing is that here salary is paid on time, apart from that any other payment whether it is overtime or bonus is never received on time.

There are many reasons to not like it, like bonus and overtime are not given on time, the increment policy is also very bad and the one who gets a good increment is the one which the management wants.And those who love the boss, who always keep the boss and the management happy with their sycophancy,Here skills, hard work has no value, and you will get your place based on your caste or religion, there are many such things here

Unethical pressure to get sale Pressurise to work on Sunday also in case not achieving assigned target Start con call at 8 am every morning which is most irritating.

1) Office infrastructure is excellent. 2) Salary on time. However in some cases it also get delayed due to inefficiency of HR department.

Complete favoritism & partiality culture. Even company's policy is not been equal for all. At once they will say that promotion is only due once you spend 3 years in the company on the other hand promotion is being given to favourite employee who have spent less than 1.5 years. This is a first company, I came across where HOD's are more concerned about their own appraisal rather than their subordinates. One HOD got double promotion where as employees who have spent more than 8 years in the company is yet to be promoted. The Company has one policy which leads to some appreciation for employees. Even such appreciation is being given to favourite employees only. There are many examples and

personal growth is very slow, salary structure is not as per position/designation, lacks professional culture, HR lacs power to take strong decisions, management has outdated and blocked mindset, some people sitting at top takes biased & wrong decisions, but no one to look after that, seniors prefers appeasement
