    I am a subsidiary employee of TSM,Dhenkanal, now the company pay has been revised but some people's payment has not been revised, also my payment has not been revised, I don't know on what policy company is following this, If payment has to be revised then everyone has to do it.

    I have worked in various places when I was young, and TATA all in altogether is something special. Tata Steel Limited is an Indian multinational steel-making company based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is a subsidiary of the Tata Group.

    Highly secure job with decent salary and benefits. Opportunity to learn many things provided a strong case is provided. Good synergy with plant operations which helps in knowledge enhancement. Robust system in place to easily convert work into patents.

    Dislikes

    More emphasis on results rather than quality of research. Employees are encouraged to delegate detailed research to interns or professors through collaborations, which stunts technical ability development of self. Can often be made to work overtime and on weekends. High chances of spending most of your time chasing administrative actions rather than research. Few managerial positions due to which promotions are rare over career.
