There is no balance between work an salary. Promotion cycle is very poor, people are geeting promtions since 8 years. There is value of senior employess.They are hiring outside employees with good package but not retain the existing employees.

Little job security unless and until you don't violate company security policy noone will fire you.

Dislikes

Paying low salary to existing employees and hiring outside candidates in average package. And giving yearly hike of just 2-3% however in media they will show 7-10% sometimes more. Higher management doesn't bother about you. They want their work done. Most of the higher management company working on toxic behaviour. A lot of people are on bench some are since year. Average bench period 3months min. Doesn't have anything any project.

TCS is best place for those who have another source of income, it also provides the 100% job security till now. It's medical facilities is very effective and very quick.

Dislikes

Appraisal and the increment in salary is very bad and even the work life balance is also not there. The main concern is the very less salary increment and the low amount of appraisal. Many a time this concern has been raised, but management is still failed to resolve this issue. It causes the employee to leave the organization. For freshers, it is not the correct company to start their career atleast in BPS sector, not known for IT sector.

It's a great company for the people who have experienced. And job security is the best part of TCS. I am not saying work pressure is less but less than other MNC companies.

Salary scale for freshers. Promotion and increment is too less .

At the time of hr discussiing salary it was like she is giving money from her own pocket, very limited hike

10 hrs shift to be shown only 9 in timesheet, cafeteria smells very bad(powai) pantries are like small call centers are much better
