Job security is great as company having near monopoly and good cash flow. Good management decision in certain areas. Work life balance company believes in giving good life against work.

Dislikes

Salary structure is very poor one need an side income forcefully to atleast austain a lifes basic necessities. Need to improve perfoemance management system as it was lacking so many things due to that many potential candidate lagging behind. Very rigid hr and internal politics

Job security, as no one is following up the work unless it is critical

1. Very poor appraisal cycle, they hire employees as trainees in somewhat good package and afterwards management drags the increment in such a manner that new joinees and experienced old employees fall on the same salary structure. 2. Politics is way high in many departments, managers & AGM don't show up their subordinates work to the hire management, eats up whole credit & appraisal of the work. 3. Policies are very stringent, they don't care about employees & they only show sympathy. Policies of the company benefitted older employees, new joinees suffer a lot in promotion as they don't share the policies transparently. 4. Management don't appreciate hard working employees, those who work hard will continue to grind, and those who don't work and chilled out, both will get more or less same appraisal at the end, bootlickers even get more appraisal than hard workers. 5. Roles & responsibilities are not properly defined hence junior level employees suffers. 6. Those who have higher packages, don't have enough skill sets.

Work life balance is good. No one is going to disturb you after you punch out (except you are a senior employee). On time Salary, pf, Mediclaim facilities. Safe work practices.

Salary The HR of the company shortlists candidates from small companies / third party employees / working under contactors etc. and hire candidates on same or even lower package in the name of corporate company. After joining you will realize the package of GET (3.75 lpa) is more than a 3 year exp (3.68 lpa). engineer & the senior technicians earns more than manager by doing unnecessary OT. So anyone who seeks growth should join this company for name sake as it is a big organization and use it as an entry gate to a big corporate sector. After this you will definitely get a good recognition. Also you will see engineers working in departments wherein any graduate/ITI professional can work, but looking at the unemployment level of electrical engineers "something is better than nothing". Only GETs can survive in this organization for a longer period.
