Building and infrastructure is poor and congested. Career growth is too slow Salary revisions do not meet market standards Health insurance coverage does not exist for parents or can be enrolled after first quarter of joining so be careful before you accept offer here

UBS india team is underestimated and less appreciated evn though Indian teams are doing fantastic jobs. The UK teams are jealous of indian teams and they dont prefer t share information with india . Lot of bias for India team in UBS which need to looked upon seriously.

Free pick and drop. Female employees respected Apart from this, nothing else

Dislikes

Internal politics. No growth. Die working here culture. Give 10-12 hours daily and then support on call on weekends. Poor salary. Poor appraisal. No transparency. Hypocrisy at all levels. No additional perks/ team bonding activities/festival gifts. They fire 50% of the team in 1 day without prior notice. Goal setting and discussion is a sham. If you or a family member is hospitalized and you take leaves, this will be held against you in end of year discussion. Leaves are for name sake, if you take all leaves do expect poor appraisal and poor rating. Return to office is again biased ,only few are forced to come . Others sitting at home for 3 years. Your manager and his manager will tell you throughout the year you are exceeding expectations and the best performer, but during appraisal time you will get peanuts and they say you performed average and give poor rating. No learning, same old mundane work. If you ask for growth perspectives and improvement areas they won't guide. Year on year false promises and lies from bosses and senior management. Old technology, market is 10 years ahead.They have devices more than 20 years old still running. People who worked here for 22 years were made redundant in 1 day even though they were highly performing and technically sound and up to date with latest technologies. When people try to express unhappiness, managers will hold grudge against you and give you poor rating and appraisal. No team building activities. All they do is show the world that they do CSR and stuff , donate large sums to charity but treat own employees as slaves. No job security, there is always a fear in the employee's mind that she/he may be next on the firing list. No backfill for laid off or resigned employees. They say automation is doing all the work but automation is not even 20% successful and on this basis they fire employees. Your manager will change every 2 years and then they say i was not involved with what you were promised by previous manager. Promotion is only to people who are managers pets, other hardworking people will keep working and not get anything in return,only lies that they will be promoted next year. They hire external employees at more salary but their current employees work at half the salary and do double the work. They do not hire directly on payroll but on contract so that if they fire the employee it is not counted as attrition. When senior management visits, all come to office for name sake, paint a rosy picture, they even confidently lie to senior management and provide false figures to save their own seats instead of fixing the problems. Think 100 times before joining here, you will ruin your career and waste a lot of time for nothing in return.
