1) In Reciprocating- 1st check on what condition the compressor tripped on- for eg- 2nd discharge valve- Check the valve cover temperature , check the desire valve , check the back pressure , check the when compressor tripped on loading / unloading- if loading check the suction valve, unloading - check the discharge valve, check the heat exchanger shell and tube cooler bundle chocked or not by using water pressure, checked the piston ring final and check the oil level, check the oil leakages , check the sensor of temperature, check the lose connection

2) In Screw Compressor-

Check the oil level , check the oil change interval , check the oil leakages, check the screw element condition, check the oil filter, check the sensor, check the backflow , check the scavenge line,
