Till I was 26, my dad rejected every marriage proposal based on horoscopes. I fought with him so many times, why are we letting astrology decide my life?

Then people started coming to see me. Around 8 families met me… and all rejected me. One even said, “we want someone fair-skinned” the guy wasn’t even earning well. Funny thing? 
That same family is now approaching us again… because he got laid off. 🙃

I don’t know why I keep getting rejected. Maybe because I’m introverted? Maybe I don’t dress up how they expect?
I’m not flashy. I’m just… me.

But every time someone says no, I feel like I’m falling behind.
I’m aging. My parents are blaming me.
Guys in their 30s aren’t even accepting matrimony requests.
It’s exhausting.

I used to think, as a girl, I should adjust to my husband’s family. But now? I don’t even want to meet anyone.

At this point, love marriage feels better than this emotionally draining arranged process.

I’m 28, unmarried, and tired of being “evaluated.”

Every time I fall for someone, either they break my heart or say they need to focus on their career and finances. 

I get that career is important. But why is love always the last priority? 10 hours at work, 2 hours commuting, and the rest of the time is eaten up by stress.

Sometimes I feel like having feelings is a luxury. Everyone wants love, but when the time comes, it's either the salary or stability excuse.

But I never asked for a package, just a little effort and emotion. Sometimes I think it's easier to stay away. But honestly, deep down, I still crave that real connection that goes "with" a career, not "after" it.

I really don't understand what Adulthood is all about? Why can't love, money, and career all come together?

I’m honestly scared. After hearing about that terrible incident at the daycare in Noida where a baby was hurt by someone who was supposed to care for her it hit too close to home.

Me and my husband both work full-time, and we leave our little one at daycare every day. But now? I don’t even know what to think. How do you trust someone with your baby when stories like this keep popping up?

The parents found bite marks on their baby, thought it was an allergy at first. Then they saw the CCTV and it showed the poor baby being hit and even dropped. How do you even process that?

The worst part? The daycare owner didn’t stop it and then even threatened the parents when they tried to speak up. It’s just heartbreaking.

I’m seriously scared and confused. What do other working parents do? How do you decide where to leave your child and feel safe?

If anyone’s been through this or has advice, please share. I just want my baby to be safe and happy.
