Beware of the toxic work culture in GDS BMC team

I joined the EY GDS BMC team with high hopes to learn and grow. However, under our BMC leader who is based out of UK, favoritism is rampant, and her disregard for team well-being is clear. Questioning her decisions leads to harsh repercussions, leaving many talented colleagues feeling undervalued and demoralized. Several have left rather than endure the relentless stress and humiliation This year’s favorite is BMC CS Leader, which explains his promotion despite a lack of skills. Working in his team has shown me that his promotion was baseless and unjustified. Some may think I’m just a hater, but I strive to be fair. He acts as if he is untouchable, and his biased remarks and condescending attitude create an atmosphere of intimidation. His advice is fundamentally flawed, and his inappropriate touches are entirely unacceptable. Even approaching HR seems futile; they won’t confront Fiona’s actions for fear of backlash. Think carefully before joining this team, as it’s a toxic environment.
