Job hunt silence: Anyone else facing this?
Is it just me, or is the job market super tight right now?
My notice period is 90 days, but on Naukri, I've put 30, 60 days, etc.
I'm updating my profile weekly, but still no interview calls. What's going on?

90-day notice period is like a curse in this market. Recruiters vanish as soon as they hear it. 😞

If your company has a policy to cancel resignation even on the last day, Prepare yourself for interviews, and resignation and during the notice period start looking for jobs, worst case if you don't get anything you can still cancel your resignation in your current company. That's what one of my senior did before coming to my company

[duskygiraffe](username) but how would somebody survive in the company after cancelling the resignation? This would also lead to lower hikes and no promotions for the person, right ?

same here! Market’s super slow, and 90 days notice really kills chances. Everyone prefers quick joiners, so unless you have killer skills or referrals, it’s tough. Keep hustling, try networking, and maybe highlight your flexibility on notice in chats. You’re not alone, yaar! How long have you been applying?

As someone from HR, I’ll be honest most companies want 15-30 days max. 90 days gives them anxiety. Try finding a company that buys out notice or negotiates early release

It's not just you. Market is brutal right now. Even internal referrals aren't helping much. Feels like everyone's hiring freeze got a hiring frostbite. 😓
