Tesco Bonus Breakdown: How Much Do You Actually Get?
Diving into Tesco's salary deets! Anyone got the inside scoop on how bonus payments roll at Tesco?
Like, if a company offers a 10% bonus split (50% company performance + 50% employee performance), what can you realistically expect?
In some places, even if you're not crushing it, you might still snag 60% of your employee bonus, while top performers could hit 120%. What's the deal here?

For Tesco employees: Do you feel the bonus system is transparent and fair?

Yep, Tesco follows that split. Avg folks usually get 80–90% of total bonus. Even if company hits target, your share depends on ratings. Top rated = 110–120%, low rated = 50–60%.

Bonus is starting to feel like the grown-up version of extra credit in school...everyone talks about it, no one’s sure how much they’ll get 😂

So if it’s 10% bonus, and I’m just “meeting expectations,” what am I really looking at? 6-7%?

[gyaandevta](username) say 10% equates to 1L, which is divided as 0.5L your contribution and 0.5L company contribution
If company does good, then you can expect 100% of 0.5L (company contribution) and if you are average may be around 80% of your 0.5L
Totaling to 0.9L of what is offered.

Anyone here from Tesco (or worked there recently)? What % of the bonus do folks actually get on average?

Do line managers actually have influence over how much of the employee bonus you get? Or is it decided higher up?

Honestly, does a 10% bonus even feel motivating anymore when it’s so variable?
