So, this might sound weird, but it is actually happening,  the chair next to me is manoos.

I don’t usually believe in superstition, but I have been in this new office for about 6 months now, and I can’t ignore what’s going on. I was assigned seat number 193, but the seat right next to mine, 194, seems to be cursed. Literally shapit.

Whoever joins and sits in that seat ends up leaving the office within a month. I have seen six people come and go in just six months. SIX!

And now… my team lead is planning a seat shuffle and wants me to sit there. I know this sounds irrational, but I really can’t do it. I actually love my job and the company I work for, but I do believe in energies. And I genuinely feel like someone’s done some kind of black magic on that seat.

I obviously can’t say all this to my team lead; it will sound super weird and embarrassing. 

Please help me out. I need a convincing excuse to avoid sitting there, Please please  please suggest!
