Only Hyundai Name is Big, Others nothing to likes. Strongly recommend - Never Join to Hyundai Motor India Ltd.

Hyundai Work culture is very worst:- 1) HR Policy :- A) HR policy is very poor. Never support to you. More than 6 months of joining still Joining & relocation amount not paid to employees. B) Incase your salary deducted, Very difficult to come credit your money to next month. After lot of email communications HR never respond your email or calls. C) You can't expect for Promotion in HMIL. D) Food quality is very poor. E) Duty Hours :- If you willing from nearby pune city. Your duty will be 14-15 Hours. No work life balance. F) You can't take leave here, Consider always unplanned leave. If any issue going in your family they asking avidance. Shop Floor Work Culture:- 1) If you have skills & Joined HMIL, put your skills in your pocket. Here apply only HMI Chennai culture. HMI Chennai Seniors never listen to you. No freedom for work. If you have good Idea, They will not accept because in HMI Chennai isn't happening. Everytime told 'HMI Chennai, HMI Chennai' (They made HMI Chennai as ISO mark) 2) Before 30 min of Shift end, Meeting will conduct and HOD told don't go home without complete given task. Already duty hours apx. 10 Hours. (7:25am to 5:00pm) (Bus reached in plant 6:15am) Departure time - 5:40pm, 3) If You have 10 years Experience or more, And You will join Hyundai, You will work as a Labour & Casual. 4) Here talking about Safety but in actual here No safety precautions for employees. Every month major accidents happening, Top management always hide their mistakes. 5) Huge unwanted work pressure given by Chennai Seniors Employees. 6) They asking every time documents. No practical things are going here. 7) If you worked as a shift in charge in your previous company and Your education is Diploma(10-12 years experience) , And By mistake you will join HMIL pune, You will work here as a casual/labour. 8) HMIL Pune - Everyone new joined employees are stuck here because of only Big brand name. Here No work satisfaction, No work life balance, No good Salary, No promotion, Unwanted work pressure. No All are finding Job after 4-5 month of their Joining because here probation period extension is going on. Final conclusion :- If you are working in OEM or T1/T2 don't join HMIL Pune, HMI Chennai plant for big name big brand. It's only myth, Here life is worst....Read More

Initially it takes time to adjust with South Korean work culture. Once you set yourself with company's frame then its all your stage to rock the show.

Dislikes

Some may not like working here bcoz Hyundai adopt very agressive work culture and need people with same pace. Slow horses has no place at Hyundai.
