Have a great client base and work was good.

Dislikes

I was a freelancer with pepper for three years. The thing I disliked is that they would ask you to leave all of sudden. I was pregnant and on bed rest when my creator account got locked and after that there is no response from them. it was very weird and unusual on their part. Also they don't respond to your requests.

Sadly I don't have enough reasons to like Pepper Content.

Dislikes

They disguise freelancers. They promise to give good amount as compared to others in the industry but fail to provide enough work to the freelancers to earn. Communication is pathetic...there is literally no manager or lead is allotted to the freelancers..so that they can reach the concerned person for ant query or problem. Delay inpayment...it took 2 months to release the payment of three articles. Over the course of 6months they allotted just 3 articles. Not a promising company to work with....Read More

When I joined Pepper Content about two years ago, they were a very good brand. They use to provide assignments on time, the work was reviewed and submitted to the client on time, who in turn approved it within 1 month of submission. Hence, the payments also came within the window. The management back then was quite good.

Dislikes

Since the start of 2023, the company has provided poor support to the writers and editors. First, the client can request as many edits as required so the work gets stuck in revision cycles. Then, there's no time limit on when the client should approve. I have assignments that were submitted 3 months ago but the client has not approved so I haven't gotten paid. You have to constantly contact them for updates and even then you get limited information....Read More

I think the only thing I can say I like is the choice of brands and companies I get to create content for through them.

Dislikes

They are unprofessional in plenty of ways: - they don't respond to writers' queries on time, after assigning deadlines to projects - their editors are less qualified and less efficient than the writers. - they don't take any feedback constructively from writers, thus working in a one dimensional setting only serving 1 purpose which is their own. - their rating systems are set to take a writer down, with absolutely no consideration of the quality of briefs and support they provide as an agency....Read More

Majorly, if you analyse the reviews, most of the freelancers working with them for more than a year are frustrated. Reason - they charge a bit higher compared to newbies. They run a scandal. Their editors who are not even from the domain, will reject your articles too at once, because they will get the same article revised from someone who writes at a lower cost. Would not recommend any writers to work with them at all. Another important thing, you will hardly see their support team really supporting you. If you have issue in the article, they wont respond, then if you submit the article based on your understanding just not to miss the deadline then they will either reject it or redact it to someone else saying that article is not as per brief given. They provide you with a good amount of projects initially but that gets reduced gradually. For all the writers out there don't apply to this company and waste your time. They assigned me a long-form content project with 30 mins deadline which is absurd. The management is very irresponsible. They never respond to your queries nor show a willingness to help.
