Likes

I enjoy working at Ratna Sagar because the team is supportive and friendly. I also appreciate the chance to grow and learn new things everyday. Moreover, the work timings are quite comfortable, plus we get the weekend off. The salary is also credited on-time every month.

Dislikes

One thing I don't like about working at Ratna Sagar is that during peak times, the work can get very hectic and stressful. Additionally, there's no cafeteria. Rest everything is fine.

Working at Ratna Sagar has been an enriching experience. I am working with a kind and collaborative team that encourages out of the box thinking and believes in dividing the work. As an editor, I had the chance to learn many new things like editing manuscripts, rules of editing, different formats of writing, crafting content for different age groups, and also got a promotion. The management is supportive and supports fresh ideas. I also got the chance to attend workshops and conduct activity sessions with children which proved to be a great asset in creating schoolbooks. Dislikes

Sometimes the work gets too much but the management makes sure that the tasks are divided among the team-mates and the products are best quality.

This job has taught me everything there is to know about digital publishing and creating print content. I have also gathered skills such as voice-over recording and editing for ebooks. The editor in chief and team lead enable creativity and help me be a better editor. They enable a democratic way of working. Leaves are approved by them without much hassle. This is specific to Offshoot. We worked in a very mentally tense environment. We were made to work over the weekends and provided comp offs which we were not allowed to use. The chief editor specifically was almost always harrassing everyone while she herself lacks intellect.
