Stuck in tech startup at gurugram
I have been working in a gurugram based startup having 12-15 employees out of which 5 are technical persons.
They are not giving mediclaims, PF,salary slip etc due to startup fund constraints and less employees.
I have increased salary as per discussion from jan 2025 that is 40k.
But some client backed off and they gave 11k in march, 10k salary in June to whole team irrespective of position meanwhile we asked for offer letter about the talk we had in Dec for dated January but the manager and boss keeps on making words saying we are not getting time will do it tomorrow.
We don't have any hr, the manager used to make the letters.
Can anyone please explain what I should do i only have a probation letter dated September as proof the whole 6 month probation ended in February.
No further letters are issued and are delayed knowingly, how will i prove my 1 year of experience and previous salary, i have irregularities in bank salary statements.
I am stuck and need genuine advice 🙏

Which is the best company for the long term. As gainwell technologies are giving permanent WFH while edgeverve is hybrid. Also gainwell technologies is in the healthcare domain while edgeverve is in the financial domain. Please suggest your thoughts. The position is for 8+years of experience. Edgeverve is given the team lead role while gainwell technologies given the professional 2 roles.
Edgeverve has given less CTC compared to Gainwell technologies.

Fear of interviews
I am a software developer with 5.5 yrs experience currently earning 8.65 LPA.
I want to switch company. I have AWS, Azure certification, work on various technologies react, node, flutter etc. I am having fears about interview. Since my skillset has many things, it gives interviewer a bigger ground to test me.
I don't feel confident enough to crack the interviews. React itself has many to concepts and I never feel fully prepared. Can anyone guide me how to handle this situation?

Got the Offer – Unsure About Document Submission
I had an interview today and got selected after clearing four rounds.
The company is offering a 3-month internship which includes:
Pg accommodation
Three meals a day
Cab facility
A ₹5,000 monthly stipend during the training period
After the internship, based on performance, they will offer a full-time role with a salary between ₹15,000 to ₹18,000 and a 2-year bond.
They are also asking for the original copies of my 10th and 12th mark sheets.
The job role is Java Developer, and I genuinely need this opportunity to fill my career gap and kickstart my professional journey.
I'm a bit confused about submitting my original documents. Should I go ahead with it?
Would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Will i get the offer letter?
I got selected for TCS digital profile and had my interview a few weeks ago. The interview was about 30-40 minutes. All the rounds happened in one go, project based, SQL and a dsa questions were asked which I solved in Python, also answered OOPs related questions in java.
My question is how many days will it take to get offer letter from TCS and will joining date also come with offer letter?

i was recently working at a Bangalore startup where my JD said “Full-Stack Developer,”
but within a month I was also writing LinkedIn content, fixing the office router, and once even booked hotel rooms for a team offsite I wasn’t invited to. along with my job i was also being used as a PA , i mean there are limits to chaos
i have realized this now that in startups, your job title is just a suggestion.

I received a job proposal from Mindgraph for a Junior Mainframe Developer position in Malaysia (onsite). Not sure if it's a real deal.
They found my resume on Naukri and the offer includes:
* Experience: 3+ years on cardlink, VSAM, CICS, JCL
* Location: Malaysia (Accenture client in Kuala Lumpur)
* Notice: 0-60 days
* Benefits: One-way ticket, 1-week stay, medical insurance, visa.
Has anyone heard of Mindgraph or had a similar experience?
Note : This is a permanent position with Mindgragh and you need to work with our client Accenture - Malaysia (Kaula Lumpur) & we will provide one way Air Ticket from India - Malaysia, 1 Week Accommodation, Medical Insurance and will take care of the Visa process also.
Any insights would be appreciated!

Devs, avoid Test & DevOps roles!
If you're a developer, resist the urge to switch to Test or DevOps. Take a break, chill out, learn new skills, but seriously, don't do it! You'll regret it. It's fine as a fresher, but after being a developer, it's a major downgrade. Test and DevOps roles are often undervalued. Your job title will limit your opportunities, and you won't learn anything new. These roles are basically clerical. Don't be fooled by company names or pay hikes.

Planning to switch in full stack/relevant roles
Hi all,
I’ve been working for a year at a startup as a full-stack developer. There are no formal HR, PF, or salary slips—just my salary credited to my account (CTC: ₹4.92 LPA, all base, no healthcare).
Despite the informal setup, I’ve worked on real production projects and know the codebase end-to-end. My stack includes:
React, Next.js, TypeScript, MUI
Docker, cPanel, full deployment experience
Knows basics of node express and mongodb
Now I want to switch, but I’m unsure how to prove my experience without PF or standard documentation. Some suggest starting over as an intern or fresher, but I feel my experience has value.
My questions:
1. Can I apply for full-time roles without PF proof?
2. Will bank statements with irregularities, offer letter, or reference help?
3. Should I try for fresher roles or junior developer positions?
Looking for genuine advice from those who’ve faced this or recruiters who can guide me.

Getting no calls for interview
I have experience of more than 7 years in manual and api testing. I have been preparing for python and selenium for automation from quite a while. Updated my resume also but still not getting any calls. Three major problems I see are:
1. 90 days notice period
2. Skillset not matching as per the latest trend for automation engineers as they want everything from one person.
3. My experience is increasing but my skillset is same or I hv started learning and I need to switch as soon as possible because I don't have high hopes from my Current employee for a good hike.
Heavily underpaid and feeling demotivated by seeing the skills required for switching and calculating the time it will take to learn and master them.
Can someone guide me like what should be my course of action?
1. Should I just commit to learning for couple of months and gather those skills just enough to face the interviews
2. Should I side by side learn and apply for jobs, as interviews are altogether not coming.

Should I Start My Career at 2.2 LPA or Prepare for a 5-6 LPA Job in the Next 6 Months?
I completed my B.Tech in 2024. Recently, I received a job offer for a Java Developer role with a package of 2.2 LPA and a 2-year bond. However, I wasn’t satisfied with the offer, so I decided not to join.
Now, I’ve decided to focus fully on my preparation with the goal of cracking a 5–6 LPA job within the next 6 months. I would love to hear your opinions:
– Was it a good decision to skip the 2.2 LPA offer with a bond?
– Is it better to start with any offer and switch after 2 years to a better one (like 6 LPA)?
– Or should I take this time to build strong skills and directly begin my career with a better salary?

Almost missed an offer
Mann! Yesterday I appeared for this campus interview for the role of associate technical support engineer and cleared all rounds-screening, gd, tech and hr. They even asked me to mail my documents. And then guess what? I got rejected. All through the interviews, they gave me hopes of getting hired. I was sorted. And this happened! I'm from EEE to add up my pain 😭. This was my first interview and the pay was like 8 lpa. ALMOST Missed! The fact that I've to prepare all through to clear 4rounds again for other companies scares me. And what skills should i develop for the roles of embedded/vlsi/power system/core EE engineer?

Current Situation Of IT industry
I’ve been actively applying to multiple IT companies every single day through platforms like LinkedIn and Naukri.com. With 3 years and 9 months of experience in the industry, I expected at least some response — but unfortunately, I haven’t received even a single call from a recruiter or HR so far.

Facing Salary Hike Issues – Incentives Not Considered in CTC by New Employer
I’m currently working as an Interior Designer and facing a challenge during the salary negotiation process with a new company.
Here’s the situation:
Fixed Salary: ₹42,000/month (₹5.04 LPA)
Monthly Incentives: Around ₹40,000 (₹4.8 LPA)
Total Annual Earnings: Close to ₹10 LPA
During the final offer discussion, I requested a 30% hike based on my actual in-hand income (~₹10 LPA). However, the new employer is only considering my fixed pay and refusing to include incentives in the hike calculation.
Here’s what I’ve provided so far:
Bank statements showing regular monthly incentive credits
Excel reports from my current company listing incentive payouts
The issue is that my payslips only reflect the fixed pay, and the company is asking for proof of incentives in the official offer letter or CTC breakup, which I don’t have.
What I’m Looking For:

I'm seeking advice from this amazing community as I'm at a career crossroads.
I’ve always been passionate about the IT field and want to grow as a professional in the tech industry. Recently, I received a job offer in IT with a salary of ₹15,000 per month. While the pay is modest, I believe it's a start and could help me build my technical skills further, which are currently not at the industry level but improving.
At the same time, I’ve got another offer from an educational institution (non-tech role) with a salary of ₹22,000 per month (₹18,000 in hand). It’s financially better but not aligned with my long-term career goals.
I'm confused — should I choose the IT role for long-term career growth, or go with the non-tech job for better immediate income?
