I have 8+ Exp. I have to chose between Virtusa and Accenture depending on below details: Accenture Fixed CTC = 27.5 LPA + 27% Variable Pay Virtusa Fixed CTC = 24 LPA + 10% Variable Pay which is 100% payable every six months = 27.4 LPA (Total) Virtusa is saying Client may absorb after 6 months and may give depending on the market standards. I want to know about the company Capco. Current domain: Data Engg YOE: 4.7 CCTC: 16.4 Offer: 23(fixed)+1 JB Post: Sr Consultant 2 grade M2. I want to know about the company culture,WLB,job security,bench policy.Also,I am a bit confused.The role offered is for a consultant,but the questions were more oriented toward arch. There were no questions on PySpark.The manager said the work is on ETL migration for Barclays using AWS Glue and Spark,but no related questions.Should I take the offer or continue rounds with EPAM,UST,EY? My First Company Switch

Hello people, I am making my first company switch. I have cleared the interviews of the new company and got the confirmation of the offer (verbally). The offer letter is yet to be received. I have a couple of questions, please let me know how these things work: 1.I need to resign my current company only after receiving the offer letter. Is that correct? And the new company will send the joining letter couple of days before joining. Correct? 2.Do I need to inform my team or my manager before filling the resignation letter on my current company's web portal? Or do I just fill the resignation form and let them know on their own? 3. Any important documents that I need to collect before leaving my current company? These questions might seem basic, but I am a novice.

How do you stay Productive on a single screen ? Share your experience!

I’ve seen many people watch tutorials and code at the same time on a single laptop screen (mostly MacBook folks). How do they do that? I find it really annoying to keep switching between YouTube, VS Code and Browser Tabs. I’m thinking of buying another monitor, but then I wonder how people manage to do the same on a 13-inch laptop screen while I’m struggling with a 24-inch one. How do you handle watching tutorials, reading documentation, coding in VS Code, and checking the webpage to see if things are working? Please share your thoughts on this.

My cousin, a 19-year-old has been wrestling with a big decision about his future. After passing his 12th exams in 2022, he took a gap year and plans to start college soon. His family is well-off financially, so he has the freedom to explore different paths. He’s interested in politics, geopolitics, and history, though his experience so far has been mostly through YouTube. At the same time, he’s also drawn to coding, software, and cybersecurity, but again, he’s not certain if it’s a lasting passion. Given all this, he’s considering skipping the traditional BTech path and instead dedicating 2-3 years to building software skills on his own. He believes that without college classes, he could fully concentrate on gaining the skills needed for a software developer job. He’s been home and mostly isolated for the past two years, with no close friends nearby and struggling with discipline. Any advice on what path would be best for him?

Note: I'm passionate about Software's. I'd guess looking at other people's full-stack, end-to-end code would remedy this, as I don't know how to exactly put authentication, authorization, routing, database queries, analytics, and more together.
